I'm stopping the bleeding...

I haven't told any of my husband's sleep talking stories in a while.  Partly because there haven't been any really hilarious memorable stories but mainly because I have been sleeping so much better lately so I just don't hear him anymore.  Most of his episodes lately have just been him getting up and walking around the room muttering random things that I don't remember, but last night I remembered.

So the past week I have been watching the series Vampire Diaries on Netflix.  I never really got into the Twilight series and honestly didn't really even know there was a vampire show on tv until my aunt told me about it and said that it was really good.  So...I started watching it and got hooked.  Then, I decided to try and get my husband hooked so I had someone to watch with and sure enough last night we were up until 3:30 watching episode after episode.

So last night I woke up to Tyler pressing his hand on my neck.  At first I thought he was trying to choke me in his sleep but then after asking him what he was doing to me he said "I have to stop the bleeding!  You are bleeding!  I have to stop it!"  So Tyler must have been dreaming about a vampire that bit me and he was trying to save my life.  Pretty sweet of him huh?

So now that I have updated everyone about Tyler's sleep talking episodes I figured I can update you on our little Payton.  She is almost 9 months old now and I know every mom says this but I honestly can't believe how fast it has gone.  I saw a newborn at church today and thought to myself "there is no way Payton was ever that little".

She is one little energy crazed girl.  She is crawling everywhere, climbing up the stairs, standing up, getting into cupboards, getting into drawers....   She never stops!  But she is the cutest little girl ever (of course I am biased) and is so much FUN!

So it has been a while since I've posted any pictures and back in January we got some 6 month pictures taken.  Here are some of our favorites.

Lately she has been doing this scrunchy nose face ALL the time.  She looks hilarious.  She is the worst baby for smiling with a camera because she is just so fascinated with the camera that most of my pictures of her are close ups with her hand in the way of the shot.  But I got a few pictures that somewhat portray this face.

When she was 6 months old I started making her homemade purees and at first she liked them but lately  she would much rather feed herself.  She is a very independent baby.  She doesn't even cuddle with me which makes me sad, but she makes up for it in other areas.  This is her after feeding herself avocados.

Payton LOVES to dance!  Whenever she hears music she starts dancing and she really only has one move.  She first started doing this when I was watching Ellen one day and I was able to record her doing it later.
